FAQs

  • Yes! When you contact me I will reach out to set up a time to chat for about 15 minutes. During that time I will ask what’s bringing you into therapy, what you’re wanting, tell you about myself, and give you time to ask any questions you have about me or the therapy process. At the end of our call, if we both feel it is a good fit then we will set up our first appointment.

  • Our first session together will be a “choose your on adveture” because the first session is meant to help you feel safe and ease you into therapy and that looks different for everybody. Our first session may mean diving right into current struggles, previous therapy, and imagining what healing looks like or it might mean talking about what you like to do in your free time, talking about your friends, your job, and interests. The first session is customized to meet your needs and develop the relationship together.

I do not provide brief or short term therapy. It is almost impossible to prescribe an amount of time one will be in therapy, but therapy with me is feedback-informed meaning I will check in with you periodically to assess you feel you’re getting what you need and are in the trajectory you are wanting.
